Sarah Wellman lives north of Atlanta near Lake Allatoona. Surrounded by woods and pastureland, she indulges her love of painting and drawing by seeking inspiration in her own backyard. Her work often delves into the interactions between mankind and nature using representational imagery in a variety of media. The juxtaposition of organic entities amidst manufactured or purely human elements provides a link between animalistic behavior and human thought and temperament. Sarah graduated from Kennesaw State University with two Bachelor’s
Degrees, one in Fine Art and the other in English. She is currently exhibiting
her work at local Gallery 4463
in Acworth, GA, while also working on a collaborative book of art with
a fellow artist. Or follow her on Twitter: @SarahWellmanArt |
