Stone Arabs
This is Earendil, the pride of my Stone collection. He is an exquisite test run painted by Sarah Mink in 2001 and auctioned off at Equilocity 2002 as "Fivel."
The Arab in glossy chestnut as a portrait of the famous stallion *Muscat, a great favorite of mine. This was a run of 70 pieces in fall 2008.
This is Newsprint, the January 2001 Equilith SR. He was limited to 300 pieces and came with a red tasseled halter.
This is Holt, a 2009 SR of 50 pieces for the MI Horse Expo. Some were glossy and some were matte.
This is White Madras, a bloody shoulder Arab produced as a regular run in 2002. Mine was hand-picked for his dark shaded face, knees, and hocks, as well as his bright blood-marking. All the other models I looked at had hazy white paint misted over the marking, so I think my model is a variation.
Apparently, I have a thing for grey Arabs. This is a OOAK Arab with a straightened head and loose tail in glossy fleabitten grey. I ordered him during the 2009 You Call It Custom Order sale.
This is Tu Fire, the first Stone Arab I purchased. He was part of a run of 500 models done for West Coast Jamboree in 2000.
