This is the Breyer Woodgrain Standing Hereford, one of the most rare woodgrains produced by Breyer. (We call him Meatloaf.) Only a handful of these models are known on lamps, and one free-standing model has been found as well. It has holes in the feet, so presumably it was destined to be a lamp piece or it came off a lamp. This lamp is shown with an original Dunning hang tag.

This lamp is a one of about 3 known featuring a Glossy Palomino Grazing Mare and Foal. At least one glossy set has been found without a lamp as well.

This is my favorite lamp in our collection, the rare Woodgrain Buffalo. Approximately three of these are known to collectors, and all are on lamps. He too has his original hang tag.

A woodgrain Brahma lamp. I believe this fellow is a very early Dunning lamp in that he is nailed to his base rather than screwed in from the bottom. I have only seen 2 other woodgrain Brahma lamps, a mirror image pair that are set on their bases at an angle.

A neat lamp featuring an old Breyer Racehorse.

This lamp features a Palomino Fury Prancer with Davy Crockett aboard on a desert base with a neat silhouette shade. These lamps also came with brown Prancers.

A regular Buffalo lamp.

One of a pair of Chalky Donkey lamps we found at a flea market. Below is a close up of one eartip showing green plastic underneath the (rubbed) paint.

An old Western Horse on a metal scroll-based lamp.
Like the Racehorse Lamp above, this Bloodhound was found on a metal base.
This a Breyer Poodle TV Lamp. There is a light bulb inside the gold box. Only a handful of these are known to collectors. So far, Black and White Poodles have been found on the TV Lamps as well as Palomino Furies.
A Palomino Fury TV Lamp on an extended base with a clock! Only a handful of these are known to collectors. This is a picture of the clock before it was cleaned up. We're still working on getting the grime off the poor palomino Fury.
