This Davy Crockett Clock is complete with all
pieces including the original brown mailer carton and the Mastercrafter
clock paper inserts.

|
This unusual Fury clock is also a TV lamp. (There
is a small bulb under the base.) This is a picture of the clock
before it was cleaned up. We're still working on getting the grime
off the poor palomino Fury. Approximately 3 of these are known to
collectors.

|
This is probably the most unusual clock I've seen
because the horse is also a night light. The base is very typical
of other Breyer night lights.

Recent
research has shown that this "Western Horse Clock"
is actually a Hartland piece rather than a Breyer piece, but I have
included him here as a contrast to the Breyer clock pictured below.

|
Our Hartland "Champ" clock on the left
and the Breyer Western Horse Over the Clock on the right. They look
alot alike, but there are subtle differences in the bridles, breastcollars,
manes, tails, and saddles.
|
|
A headshot of both pieces. Note that both have
the O-link reins. The Hartland piece has the "diamond"
conchos on the bridle (the middle one is still round) whereas the
Breyer piece has all round conchos. There are also subtle differences
in the sculpting style of the manes and particularly the shape of
the manes. The differences can be seen most clearly in the shape
of the edge of the manes.
|
|
Subtle differences in sculpting and shape can
also be seen on the tails.
|
|
The breastcollars also differ in the size of the bosses on the
conchos.
Below is a better closeup of the heads showing the round versus
diamond conchos.

The back side of the clocks. The Hartland clock
has a slip on saddle (no girth) and the Breyer clock has a snap
girth saddle.
